Staying at Ichie was a delightful experience for my family and me during our recent trip. After a long journey, we were warmly welcomed by the host, who was incredibly accommodating. The location is a short walk from the train station and provides easy access to the beach, which was a hit with the kids. Our room, a cozy traditional Japanese space, had a futon setup that added a unique touch to our stay. The kids enjoyed sleeping on the futons, and while space was limited, it fostered a great family vibe. We appreciated the thoughtful gesture of having freshly baked chiffon cake waiting in the fridge for breakfast, providing a sweet start to our mornings. Although the house's traditional design meant we experienced some noise from neighboring rooms, it didn't detract from our overall enjoyment. The kids loved exploring the nooks of this charming wooden house, and the personalized service from the host made it feel like home. We would definitely consider staying here again, especially for its family-friendly atmosphere.
